Accu-Feel from A2A video
« on: February 21, 2012, 06:01:11 PM »
Thought some people might want to know about the latest thing for FSX.  Wonder if it uses much CPU power, mine is getting tired as the load grows and grows.

Sunny-a-gun, but that looks enticing!  Some of this sort of utility seem more like "gadgets", but this one looks to be well thought-out and well executed.

I think it's a winner!

Hey Spud,

Thanks for posting.  That does look interesting......may have to try it....can't affort to lose FPS over it though.

That's awesome!   I only have the A2A Piper but I like what this new addon will do for other aircraft.

It does look interesting, I too wonder about how it will be resource wise, I do not need any more slowing down my sim.  Also noticed that it says third party A/C but only lists payware third party planes.  Wonder how or if it will work with an AVSIM etc. type 3rd party A/C.

Apparently they are already testing several freeware addon aircraft so it looks like it may be a truly universal application.

Here's a link to an FAQ over at A2A that covers some of the details.

For the floatplane guys, it appears they are also working on applying the Cub's water physics in order to improve FSX's notorious default behaviour.

And, Klaus, helicopters are also on the menu.  ;)

Klaus,
don't hold your breath on the helos.  From there site:

"Do we support helicopters?
Currently we do not, yet this is something we are able to do. We want to give choppers the time and focus to do it right."

I read that as: "after we get fixed wing A/C running right we will see what we can do with the helos."
