New Zealand revealed
« on: February 18, 2012, 01:46:03 AM »
I guess this'd be the place to share something not Misty's.  I was uploading these pics to my photobucket, and thought hey, they'd probably like to see these pics over at Misty's Place.  What it is, is that on Sundays I fly with Lazyeight and the gang over at Com Central.  We're flying around the New Zealand South Island scenery area.  It is so beautiful, I wanted to post a link if anyone is interested in a slideshow of our multiplayer flight on the 12th of February.

Here is the link ---> http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m531/jeff3163/CC%20MP%202%2012/?albumview=slideshow<--- Enjoy!  (126 pics)

WOW, beautiful set, Jeff! Thanks for sharing!
Do you still fly in Africa sometimes (African Airstrip Adventures addon by Aerosoft - I remember you were active in Aerosoft forums back in 2009)?

Hi Just Fly,
Yes, well I don't get back to Africa as much as I want to.  I love to fly in the AAA.  Wow, I can't believe you remember me from my Aerosoft forum days.  Aerosoft is cool.  I'm a fan.  I am the first 100 hour charlie.  (I have a free Aerosoft f-16 from it.)   ;D  Very cool of Thorsten.
Welcome to Misty's, and thanks for the memories.

PS - I lost all my hours in AAA and had to start over.  Oh well.  Back to the bush! ;D

Great set of pics of NZSI.  I especially liked the buzz up the glacier!

Jeff,
Great pics from a wonderful flight. Any chance that you have a PlanG (or FSX) flight plan that you can uploadof this one?
Thanks.

Well, the person that usually does our flightplans is AWOL, so we just flew along the coast that day.  But here are two flightplans in the same area, one starting at Mt. Cook.  It is great scenery for low and slow, sand bar landings.

The enclosed flightplans start with "CCBF-39 . . ." or some such.  That means "Com-Central Bush Flight number 39".

Thanks Jeff, this will be great. In the absence of the flight plan can you tell me the start point airfiled and I will then free wheel it from there and hopefully find some of the great scenery such as the glacier.

Sure, start out at NZMC, NZME, or NZMF.  Heading inland will bring you to the mountains pretty quick.   ;)

The flightplan zipfile in the post above should work.  You'd rather not use it?  That's Ok.  The area isn't that big, you can get around pretty easily without one.

Hi Jeff,
I have the flight plan and will use it, but understood from your post that it was not the flight plan for your pics but another in the same general area. Fundamentally any flight plan is great. It is wonderful to explore.
Thanks.
