My trip to Summit Ice Station
« on: November 04, 2011, 10:27:05 AM »
Hello all,

Below is a video I threw together of my trip from Ketchikan to the new CIRP Summit Ice Station. Great work from you folks once again and a shining example of why not all is lost in our hobby. Thank you!

My first stab at publishing in 1080HD with a bit of music:

And one for my German friends or those who wish to eliminate the music.

Nice video. Don't forget to check out all of CIRP. Ground and Air Ops await!

Hope to see some more videos of CIRP. It's been a lot of work but the payoff is when we see people enjoying our efforts.

Thanks alot,

Brad

OK, I'm sipping wine with dinner, but did I see a biplane at the landing airport or do I need to pour more lightly?
The squeaky wheel will never get oiled unless you ask, but you don't need to be an axle about it.

. . . and yet, no mention of an old bus at the top of a glacier.  Imagine getting that thing up there.   :o

Yes, the AN-2 biplanes fly out of Ketchikan's CIRP Cargo/tour office.  ;)
