Also, once a year I renew the heatsink paste using Noctua HT-2. Doing this in a correct way and renewing it from time to time can reduce temperatures by as much as 10 degrees. Therefor I have to completely disassemble the CPU cooler. This also allows for better cleaning. Also the heatspreaders on the mainboard should be cleaned. They tend to be covered by dust layers paired with air humidity and dried out.
In addition I disassemble the power supply, I mean, I open it and clean it out completely.
Now the winter is coming and I can up my CPU OC from 5,0 to 5,1 GHZ. Heating in my computer room is not needed, my rig takes care of that.
