My old X52 finally gave up the ghost. So I got the new Saitek X52 Pro.  There is no "calibrate" button on it. When I go to fly, the rudder either slams all the way left or all the way right, same with the elevator, all the way up or all the way down. I've played with the sensitivities and the dead zones ... can't seem to get it to settle down. Any ideas?

Do you need to calibrate it by doing a Windows 10 search on "Set Up USB Game Controllers" and then running that set
up utility?

Doug, you may want to start by checking the sensitivity in the sims control options, if the point on the curve moves correctly from end to end. If it does not you should probably follow Rods advice.

Do you use any external control software like Spad or FSUIPC?

Thanks guys ...

There's no calibrate button for the X52 pro (like there always was before)
I'm using no external software FSUIPC or SPAD

I've got the 64 bit windows 10 driver installed.

Fooling with the deadzones and sensitivity doesn't help.

I wonder if something is hanging in the registry from the old controller?

SOLUTION (from Logitech)

Go HERE

Select the controller you have, download the zip file, unzip it and RUN it. It changes the registry for you. I had an earlier X52 (not Pro) and this was in the registry. The zip file changes the registry to use the PRO model. All my flight surfaces are now working correctly.
