Object test in FS2020
« on: January 06, 2022, 12:45:34 PM »
Hello,
Does anyone know where I can find the object scenery test within FS2020?
I think it was in PANT in FSX but not visible within FS2020,

Thanks

There is no object scenery test for RTMM in FS2020.  Since there is only one library package, once you make sure you have the latest version, you should be good to go.

Thanks Rod,
Why do you have the scenery object test folder to download and place in the community folder?

Thanks,

Test Object Library:

As we “collect” and “try” new objects, all of the newer things will be placed into this Test Object
Library. When we have several that have been tested, then these will move to the RTMM Object
Library when we have our next library update.

This keeps you from having to download the entire RTMM Object Library each time we put up a single new object.

You unzip the folder, revealing the mod, then you put the mod into your community folder. When
we shift the object (s) to the main RTMM Object Library, you will be notified as to which mods in
your community folder must be deleted.

(Right now there is a few camp fire objects in this test lib which is only 7900 kb. (It is a tad smaller than the main library which expands to 3.43 gig).

I was thinking the same, Id liked to test objects on the custom airport, like it was for P3D. Now its clear. Maybe the good idea is to add this info to readme also :) that "no test scenery" for user.
