Right! I have the mapping of the floats finalised. Just need to add nonskid tape to the footsteps.

Am also wondering if the float uppers should be grey (i.e. bare) dirty metal or painted dirty metal. Also got a decent grunge layer now.

This is a pain!

I was getting the Husky to show as a painted 3D model in Blender, but all I got in the sim was just the interior model. Odd.

Getting a "package" sorted is awkward - I am not overly good at this, but I think I might have a solution. Basically the Husky comes as four aircraft in separate sub-folders and I am trying to make just one. Why not do all four then? OK. Let me see...

Here we go! Cooking on gas again... Still some textures to edit and comps to unshine, but yayyyy...

Nearly there. Her's a look at a nicely matted Misty Floater:

Right! Four the price of one! I have sent Doug the zip - which just contains one folder for your community. But when you go into the hangar, go through the different aircraft in "change aircraft" and you will see that each type of Husky (Standard wheels, tundra wheels, skis and amphibian) now has the N2022MM livery. So now you can take the one aircraft anywhere your fancy takes you

Oh yes. please be critical and let me know if you see mistakes. There are also a fair few small tweaks to various parts of the plane(s)  - see if you can spot them...

Just spotted a mistake in the Husky propellers... I will be uploading a repaired version asap.

[/edit]

Done and sent to Doug. It is a simple matter of deleting the existing Husky / RTMM livery and unzip / drag / drop the new one. No faff except for the big download again.

Enjoy!

Question on Husky ... how do you CLEAR out an old flight plan and put in a new one? Mine retains the old flight plan even though I've got a new plan installed in the sim.

errrr... do what?

 ;)

Planning? One-Eye? With my low "B2T" time - in fact I flew my last flight with a great Temperanillo on the desk. Planning is such a dirty word.  ;D

Seriously though - that is something I don't really use at all much in any flightsim since day "Artwick"

Now back to my Tempranillo (only because I haven't got a Barolo handy).
