Well here goes nothing John:

Steps:

Computer shutdown.
Start PC.
Run Windows Update.
Update GPU driver.

MSFS:
Make sure nothing is in your community folder. (Empty it).

> Start SIM. (without FSUIPC7x): So a clean boot to the sim.

If still CTD:

Delete Hidden Folder:
C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SceneryIndexes  (Folder (and required files) will rebuild on restart)

Delete file:  Content.xml
C:\Users\norm_\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Content.xml (File will rebuild on restart)

Delete file:  FlightSimulator.CFG
C:\Users\norm_\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\FlightSimulator.CFG     (File will rebuild on restart but will have to reset some of your display  options (if not default)

Delete file: ROLLINGCACHE.CCC
C:\Users\norm_\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\ROLLINGCACHE.CCC

Try SIM: > Start SIM. (without FSUIPC7x): So a clean boot to the sim.

If still a CTD, then type APPS in the windows 10 search bar > RUN Apps & Features  > Scroll down to Microsoft Flight Simulator > Advanced Options > Repair (Click Repair to execute)

When done, shutdown PC  > Start PC > -> Start SIM. (without FSUIPC7x): So a clean boot to the sim.

If still a CTD, reinstall from the store.

Hi Norm, I worked with Zoolander yesterday.  Moved community folder and reinstalled sim.  Thought we had it but I was browsing around in the sim and when I clicked on aircraft, CTD.  I'll try your suggestions.  Thanks for all the input.  Will report back.

Those step by steps usually fixes things up.  Just saw your MSFS pirep so I know it's working! Glad you're back in the air John.

Best Regards Sir Dean
