P3D Goose & shockwave nav lights
« on: June 15, 2021, 09:59:10 AM »
Hello

I wonder if anyone can help me out with this issue in P3D v5.

I've modded the Goose to the Oz HD version.
However, it only shows the red nav light, no green nav at all [yes, I've put the -ve sign in].

However I can move the navred to the opposite side and change it to navgre and that works but I lose the navred light!

In fact I have tried all sorts of lights and none show.

Here's my cfg entry:

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0= 2, -25.69, -0.00, 11.27, fx_shockwave_strobe_3_nl
light.1= 1, -16.24, -0.26, 4.65., fx_shockwave_beacon_lowl
light.2= 4, 1.60, 0.00, 2.70, fx_shockwave_vclight
light.3= 5, -4.1, -12.35, 3.5, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_short
light.4= 5, -4.1, -12.35, 3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22
light.5= 5, -4.1, -12.35, 3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_45
light.6= 5, -4.1, -12.35, 3.5, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_short
light.7= 5, -4.1, -12.35, 3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22
light.8= 5, -4.1, -12.35, 3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_45
light.9= 5, -4.1, -12.35, 3.5, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_short
light.10= 5, -4.1, -12.35, 3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22
light.11= 5, -4.1, -12.35, 3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_45
light.12= 5, -1.2, 13.6, 4.6, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_short
light.13= 5, -1.2, -13.6, 4.6, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_short
light.14= 5, -1.2, 13.6, 4.6, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_short
light.15= 5, -1.2, -13.6, 4.6, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_short
light.16= 5, -1.2, 13.6, 4.6, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_short
light.17= 5, -1.2, -13.6, 4.6, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_short
light.18= 3, 0.5, -25.0,  4.6, fx_shockwave_navred
light.19= 3, 0.5, 25.0,  4.6, fx_shockwave_navgre

The duplications are to make the lights brighter to suit my taste.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

     According to the number, and if your plane is symmetrical, the navgre light should show at the wingtip.  Try moving it out further, or up/down to get a visual.  Sometimes the are just inside the skin.  Also, try the stock navgre light, to see if it shows up.  ??? :-\
