I cannot see new airports on the map anymore. Like Helens Fright, it's just not there anymore.

Have you emptied your cache or something like that anyways.  When I get home I will check it out and see what happens for me with good old Helens Fright.

Update didn’t work for me… every file kept looping… delete the offending file then startup again, delete the next looping file and restart again… and on and on… so it would never progress… Checked everything, reset etc. All we perfect, and never an issue before.

So after a bit of playing MSFS would DL but failed to extract/update the files. Tricked it into a clean install by renaming the Official folder to Official1 and created a new “Official” (onestore) folder. Deleted most of the LocalCache (folders/files). All now all of the files went in as new and no issues. Except that the 6 gig update turn out to be an 200Gig reinstall. No biggy, zzzzz… only took SEVERAL hours! but thank goodness for fast and unlimited internet!

So now all is done. All is in now and and working as intended!
Zen Desk advise. Continuous loops appear to have been the install/decompression process not completing with existing OFFICIAL (onestore) files but once there was a new OFFICIAL folder (or the pre-existing official folders removed, the system assumed it was a new install and applied all of the required files to the Official folder (and without disturbing any of my cfg files or my set up parameters).

(Still the best sim so far (as far as graphics), and the rest will come over time). But as in most software and with devs these days, it's the experienced end user who are the real beta testers of the product.
Onward and upward, that is until the next update!! lol

Jury's still out, but it seems like a clean update for me. Addon airports are accessible and it didn't give me the kind of fits that Norm saw.

Haven't had a flight yet, but so far, it all looks good.

Lucky me, all work flawlessly for me with the update. Took a few minutes. I always rename community folder before the update once, updated I rename the community folder back I am sure many do the same procedure.

I have not experienced the map issue as Karl has mentioned... Helens Fright is showing on on the maps as well as the Garmin’s.

Even after a new and full "Official" install and a total content re-DL all is good! A very pretty scenic 276 nm (3hr) flight in BC (Okanagan & Kootenay) to Washington with no issues!!

Flawless flight in the sunlit Alaskan evening, from Skwentna to Talkeetna. Live weather matched the METAR on Skyvector almost exactly (sim had the altimeter at 29.81 and Skyvector has it at 29.83). Clear skies, calm winds, almost perfectly smooth.

The new update for the WorkingTitle G3X works well, too -- it's nice to have synthetic vision again, though I didn't need it.

I also had the occasional stalled looping issue when downloading the latest update. All I did was pause the update. Close the sim completely. Re-start the simulation and let it continue on with the update process. It picked up where it left off and started updating again. Showing less of a total left to download now.

It once again reached another stalled loop. So I repeated the process above. Again it picked up and had a lot less to download. After doing this one more time, it completed the update.

It's been working great for me ever since. I'm now working on creating an extended set of adventure flights covering the San Juan Island Archipelago near Orca's Island. Should be able to complete that in a few more days.

I'd like this to be part of RTMM's MSFS offerings. Since it's within our area of coverage and uses bush airstrips and aircraft, etc.

Here's what I did to solve the missing addon airports:

In the file "content.xml" I deleted the line with Helens Fright and then started MSFS. This fixed not only Helens Fright but also all other missing airports.

Strange thing: My MSFS shows I only have World update 1 installed and that there are no available updates. Is this what's in your installations is shown also?

I have all: I-Thru IV. 

In the marketplace -Full Catalog - Go to OWNED and make sure all are installed. If not installed them install them.

After that, go to and check the free content and do the same:if not installed then install.
