Flight Report after Cigar Box 'Failed'

Cigar Box did not record this flight (details below), so I tried a file a manual PIREP using the "Flight Number from the Schedules, but got this message:

"The flight code and number you entered is not a valid route!"

I am interested of what happened to Cigar Box failed to record.  Did you discover this during or after the flight?  Was there any indication that this happened? Please also remember that even if there is an error shown when filing a Pirep, chanced are it filed properly.  I have never had a problem with Cigar Box although there have been plenty of errors...none were real.  With that said, I would like to try to recreate the problem so things like pausing, using 3rd party add ons,  simulation (FSX,P3D,FS2020), hardware....all updates in....please let us know.

Set up Cigar Box and started it. Then minimized the window and flew the flight.  When the flight was completed, I went to file the PIREP and when I opened the window it said Cigar Box had stopped working.  It appeared that although it had initially started properly it never recorded any of the flight and there was not any indication that had occurred until after the flight.

Definitely have to properly connect.. which takes a minute or so. Need to yeah the dingdong, and for the get flight button to be lightened.. only then it properly connected to the site and ready to start.

Ps.. Got the manual pirep(s).. (3 of them).. (I approved the 1st one and deleted the other two).

Now a question, did you get errors when filing the manual pireps?

(I have found that Manual pireps take a while to file (like 3-4 mins) after being submitted, that is since last year's server migration and since that time usually yield an execution error but even with that error, they do get through and are filed correctly).

Ha ha, . . . what?  I can only guess that you're speaking this into your phone, and it comes out like this.  Reading text is very entertaining these days.  Don't change a thing.

Lol.. I hate trying to type on a cell phone!!  Need to hear the cigar box dingdong.. and see the Get flight button get a bit lightened.  lol. That is when cigar box has fully/properly connected.  Lmao !! Sorry bout that..

It's all good.  I'm (roflmao) laughing that "dingdong" was not one of the errors.
