MSFS0002 - strange waypoint MSFS vs P3D
« on: May 14, 2021, 06:08:35 AM »
In that tour there is a waypoint at airport AK99 just north to Anchorage. In P3D that airport strangely happens to be located in the upper north of Alaska.

I did notice a few ICAO names up here that don't exactly match.

IE: LNM reports AK99 as Brown Low Point, Camden Bay but with updated tables MSFS and matching skyvector or GCMapper: AK99 is named Grand Home Airport in Wasilla, Alaska. But at least for this one- the Lat/Long coordinates are the exact same, whereas many have corrected values in the newer airport tables.

Regards from Toronto, Canada. Home Airport CYYZ.

No worries, Norm. I saw that when I switched to the P3D database in LNM the route got a spike to the north.
