Nice!

This Avweb video has some great background on the Cubcrafters plane with floats...it shows them operating from a grass strip and they talk about the capability for DIRT runways, too.

Great stuff...I love this airplane!

The only problem that I have encountered was on a flight from Sitka to Ketchikan was iciing.  I had to return to Sitka and make a water landing watching the altitude and the left window.

It may be there, it's the Bush League Cub.  The paints are custom made by Jan de Jong.

AN RTMM member who did a lot of our vessel paints did those paints for me.  Since I worked with him to reclaim some of the old Tongass Fjords vessels.

Is that a flightsim.to find?

Savage Carbon (and Savage Grravel and Savage Obstruction) are all at flightsim.to as well are many liveries.

The bush league legends aircraft variations of the Xcub are on the Bush League Legends site:  as well as many xcub liveries and performance mod and many scenery pieces for various areas in MSFS.

Sadly, no.

Here's a video on the subject of glass cockpits in bush planes that I think offers some good reasons to consider flying with one: https://youtu.be/iyfenVwqNz8

Full disclosure, it looks as though Garmin is one of his sponsors, so take that for what it's worth.

Ok, then it's not meant for me. I have plenty of glass in those larger birds, that is A320 and Dash-8 in P3D.

Not a glass guy here!  Went through two rolls of grey duct tape but finally got all the glass covered in the xcub!)  Thank goodness the Carbon has steam gauges!

Yep, no glass for me either.  The one exception is/will be the TMB930. And I am not sure about that one. No glass, no GPS, no autopilot...The skill is hand flying and navigation, otherwise it is a movie! LOL
