Need Help With TeamSpeak2
« on: May 11, 2011, 07:11:27 PM »
Hi!

I'm trying to set up TeamSpeak2 and I'm stuck.  The installation instructions are very clear and complete, but when I try to "Quick Connect" I get the message

"No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it"

at the bottom of the TeamSpeak window.  I've re-typed and re-checked the server address and password.  I've shut down my firewall.  I've read the manual (which doesn't really discuss what to do when things go south), and read through the TeamSpeak forum (OK, not all the way...).  Slightly frustrated at this point.

Is it possible that the server is really offline, or, more likely, I am just an old doofus?  I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.  I'd appreciate some advice.

Thanks,
Jerry

Your problem is my problem.  :-[

The servers were down. Hopefully you can use the backup servers until
the main server is back up.

Thanks, canuck21a!  Yes, I saw the message here by Francois that the server was down (after I posted), but I hadn't heard of the backup servers.  I see this morning that Francois posted that there is a new server - I'll try that.  Thanks Francois, too.
