As a follow up....it is possible to save your flight. Here are the steps:
First pause the sim.....then select save flight in CB (look in Recovery up with the settings) close the sim and close CB. When you want to resume your flight, start the sim and select the world map but DO NOT fill out the departure or arrival destinations. Start CB. Once CB is connected to both the web site AND the sim, select load flight in the Recovery Tab. Select the saved flight from the folder....make sure it is the flight you want! Once selected and loaded, the sim will show the original departure and arrival airports and give you option to fly... select fly and then once the flight is active...either in the air or at an intermediate airport ....press start flight in CB. Everything should work fine. I have found that sometimes the progress bar doesn't work but remember in charter flight mode the progress bar is inactive.
