Flight Not Recorded by C.B.

Just a 'Heads-Up'

I just finished a short 1 hour flight and went to Cigar Box to file the PIREP, but found that although it had started, it never actually recorded the flight.  This is the 2nd time that's happened to me.

From now on I'll be checking to make sure Cigar Box is actually recording the flight after minimizing the window.

Darn, I 'Greased' the landing too.  LOL

Wait for the ding to ensure a good connection, and doh, remember to push that "Start Flight".

     I prefer to keep my cigar box opened on the right edge of the screen.  Just the flight info window peeking around the edge of my sim.  I watch to make sure it is doing all the things it should be.  Sometimes it drops the connection and I pause to wait for it to reconnect.

Definitely "Hit The Start Button" Norm.  LOL

Unfortunately, it stopped responding again this morning right after "Takeoff"

Paused flight as suggested, but did NOT restart.

Going to uninstall and reinstall.

P.S.  Thanks for sending all that snow from Ontario Norm.

I also experience CB stopping after or eveb before take off. It happens rarely, mostly when I have CB running and restart P3D.

Make sure you are running it in Administrative.  Also I have found it more reliable by using only a fresh reload....after a flight, close CB and reopen it again in run as Administrator, works better.

I have had no problems in either P3D or MSFS.

Did a clean install + C.B. seems to be working now.

Now, for some 'Strange' reason, P3D v4 has stopped recognizing some of my saved flight plans.

If it's Not one thing... It's always 'Something' else.... LOL
