Round Robin in MSFS
« on: April 11, 2021, 07:25:22 AM »
Decided to try the Manual Dispatch 001 today. Didn't stop at any of the locations except for New Eddystone Rock, but I did see that the cannery at Herring Bay is there. Might be part of the NSS Ketchikan scenery, but it's there.

Here we are at New Eddystone Rock, avoiding the boaters:

And then headed home after bouncing around in the mountains up by Wilson Narrows.

You might give dispatch 16 a try. It is not based in RTMM scenery locations except starting at Misty's place and the Birder park at the end. You could start using the Misty's Place position and start at about 1200 feet altitude. I've paid special attention to geographical features in that one including screenshot graphics for all the key turns. Would be interesting to see the similarities and differences in the geography between my screenshots and MSFS geography.

IT isn't so bad if you cheat a little with the autopilot in the Skylark, which will take you from runway to runway at 1200 feet in NO SEE THRU fog! But it is a lot more "fun" with the Cub where you are sort of fighting the wind and trying to hold the altitude and the GPS track in the VFR map. But the dispatch is deadly accurate, right on the money, and on a bad day, if you HAD to make a delivery up there, it could be done.

I was going to try working on another dispatch today, but the FS2020 UPDATE blew away my day. 1/4 downloaded and still chugging. Oh me.

Still playing with updates here too... (and looks like another bug has been created with the new update).

That is any add-ons that are in the community folder show not installed in the content manager....
BUT >> they do show loaded in the content.xml file which is located in hidden file:
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache).

Geeze some connection got missed somewhere!  Oh well another fix will be coming for that one too!
