Moh Creek MFC0051
« on: March 08, 2021, 01:20:52 PM »
pls see first the preceeding thread at MFC Tour Completions.

So I do, a networked LNM and updated db from scenery lib on the sim machine.
My question is where does this airport file "CBMC_ADEX_mib.bgl" comes from? It is not part of the RTMM scenery download. I checked it.
If you have an airport file in your flightplan you have no probs

I have that file in these locations:  I have the all in one package installed, obviously.

P3Dv3:
C:\Users\Jeff\Documents\Prepar3D v3 Add-ons\RTMM World\05-RTMM Addon Scenery\ADEX\scenery\CBMC_ADEX_mib.bgl

P3Dv4:
C:\Users\Jeff\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\RTMM World\05-RTMM Addon Scenery\ADEX\scenery\CBMC_ADEX_mib.bgl

Old install on P3Dv3:  (deactivated.)
S:\Lockheed Martin P3Dv3\Addon Scenery\Return to Misty Moorings DX10\Moh_Creek_v2.0\scenery\CBMC_ADEX_mib.bgl.off

Jeff,
obviously you don't run P3Dv5* like I do.
I dont have the ALL IN ONE installation, but I dont believe there are different scenery files as in the separate downloads.
Anyway, as you show in your post, the Moh Creek ADEX file is not located in the RTMM Moh Creek scenery folder in your P3Dv4 setup but in an "ADEX Folder" within your RTMM installation, right?
What is the origin of this file, I dont understand it.

I just downloaded and opened the zip for Moh Creek 2.1 from the scenery page.  It appears the ADEX file is missing from there.

(I've alerted the team to this issue just now.)

With you.
The initiales „mib“ in this file point to an author of it. Does anybody know this signature?

If any are using the RTMM Master, or RTMM Addons v4 or V5, the file CBMC_ADEX_mib.bgl is an active scenery file and is in scenery folder  "ADEX".

For those that are not using any of the master files, you might be missing that file so have attached it to this post.  (Unzip and put it in the ADEX scenery folder (if you have one), but probably not so place this adex file in the MOH creek scenery folder.)

Norms post clears the situation :o
Obviously masterfile users have access to other files than „normal installers“, or where can I download the ADEX Folder, I cannot find it.
After my opinion this ADE file of Moh Creek (maybe others too) should be located in their associated scenery folder. What is wrong with that? Its the same author.
We should think it over

When I was building the master and add-on packages, there was a few orphaned adex files.  I thought it best to place them in an ADEX scenery folder as not to lose them or omit them. Now that it has been determined that file  CBMC_ADEX_mib.bgl is for the Moh Creek add-on scenery piece, that file can be put into the MOH Creek scenery folder and removed from the ADEX folder.

Doug will have to do the single package, and later can update the master packages, but will wait for more adds or changes to them as these current full packages already contain this file and it is set as activated.
