tie down for floatplanes
« on: January 02, 2021, 12:25:02 PM »
Found a lil' gem over at FliightSim, I've always had a problem with starting up a floatplane with a turbine PT6 on the water wanting to spinup and taking me across a lake or inlet  or like with a G21 Goose spinning me in circles until the engine would settle down. What this gauge does is when you apply the parking brake I won't move and once the turbine settles down you then release the parking brake and take off normally, if interested you can find it here, https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=82532817

That link didn't work for me.  I did a search myself, and came up with this:

Thanks Jeff didn't even think about it, I'm automatically logged  when I open the site. It sure helps firing up a PT6 on the water and boot scooting boogie  across the lake or whatever
