Cigar Box: Recovery Flight Saved?
« on: November 09, 2020, 07:59:36 PM »
Hi!
I got almost 2 hours into the CIRP Circuit Pass flight in MFC009 - PAKT was almost in sight - when my flight simulator crashed to desktop.
I noticed in the Cigar Box flight log a "Recovery Flight Saved" just before the crash, but I don't know if it will help my situation or how to find it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jerry

Yup should be no problem Jerry.

Set up the conditions of that same flight in your sim and load up.
Then start cigar box and make sure it has good connection.

Once fully connected in cigar box, select the tab  Recovery > on the top tab then Load Flight. (Select the flight that you are resuming.. (Easiest way is to sort the result by date modified so the more recent is at the top of the list. Then select it and the Open button.

And the flight will load - and it will move to your airplane in your sim to the last save position. When the sim is loaded, in cigar box select "Start Flight" and the flight will start and resume from that saved point. Carry on to your destination and file the pirep as normal.
