Since some days I'm flying the A2A C172. Performance tables indicate specific XX% power settings in order to adjust cruising speeds, fuel consumption and RPM. I read the tool tips when hovering the mouse over the throttle. Is this the correct way to do it? If yes, how would a pilot in a real C172 know, lacking tool tips?
