Any of you yet tried to port over the ORBX Global Freeware Airports?

Yep. most work/display just fine so far. (Providing your scenery order is correct*!).

(*Correct scenery order means that ORBX Regions and Airports must be above any OpenLC entries (Top insertion point), and an ORBX Open LC or mesh must be in the OpenLC block- which is above the default scenery, default terrain and default bases). (Follow the conventional scenery order and layering and display should be fine).  (Haven't been to nearly enough yet but so far all visited display fine)

That's great news, Norm. XML method or conventional? I'd rather go for xml as it's a lot of airports.

Either way works just fine Karl. The freeware globals airports (pack) is only one scenery.cfg entry same as one xml and both are easy to turn either off or on in either method.

Norm, you are a FSGOD when it comes to this stuff.

My only problem is I removed V4 completely and can not download the Package due to this.

I put it in. The first airport I visited was Santa Fe and it is looking ok.

I have the Orbx freeware global airports installed in P3DV5. I have found that the default airports bleed through. You can make an exclude file for the stock airports with ADE 179 that fixes the issue. So far I have done all of the Alaska and Maine airports plus a few others where I used to instruct.
