I seem to have messed up (again), Norm...
« on: June 13, 2020, 05:02:53 PM »
I am in the middle of tour #7.  I couldn't get Cigar Box to get the data for leg #13, so I ended up entering the flight number (MFCT00083-6A0: KR01 -> CAJ4) and flew the leg, which was accepted.  The flight is listed in my pireps, but it didn't show up under Tours, so I can't bid the next flight (#14).

Norm, would you help me with this?

The single legs have nothing to do with the tour legs or it's status so unless you fly the tour leg it won't update or progress.
So try to submit a manual flight pirep for the leg. But have to bid the tour leg first then immediately file the manual pireps.

Just be aware that manual pireps operate ihas get slow response time.. like 4-5 mins and will probably yield a timeout or server error but after the page is done, the manual pirep will have been submitted.

I tried to file a manual PIREP, but I got the message "The flight code and number you entered is not a valid route!" (first I had entered "Tour #7 - Leg #13, then I tried "MFCT00083-6A0").

I tried to re-bid the leg and then just fly it again, but when I pressed the "Get flight data" button, Cigar Box just says "Error - Enter flight number" - but that's how I got messed up the first time.  I deleted and re-downloaded and re-installed Cigar Box, but got the same result.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jerry

Yes, that's not the way to do it.. and again the single flight # is only the same route as a tour leg. It actually has nothing to do with the tour itself or the tour status or tour updates. See pm.
