"Harsh" Water Textures

Just wondering if there was a way to "tame down" the saturation of the water textures ... V4 had a program that did that I think. They seem to be so "harsh" in V5.  If we could tone down the terrain reflection and the light reflections off the waves it would be really great.  Update: I just turned the terrain reflection off and that really helped ... also kicked the frame rates.

There is a setting for that.. dynamic reflections. Just turn that off.

I don‘t like the water reflections in v5, too. The reflections are much too strong for me, it‘s more like looking into a mirror. Both terrain and clouds reflections.....I have them disabled completly.

Enhanced atmospherics (Truesky) is disabled, as it is not implemented for VR single pass mode. So I can not speak for this feature.....

In VR it‘s even more unrealistic....There it seems the clouds pop out of the water.

I bet they will come up with a fix for this. If they could just tone down/blur the textures for the water, it would work fine. The Terrain reflection is terrible, that too should be desaturated and toned down so it is ghostly instead of like a solid object. My guess is they will fix this, but boating on the water is pretty bad right now. The basics are there, the wave action and the boat moving is fun, but it is like floating over liquid plastic or something.

I also don‘t like the clouds reflections behaviour moving with the airplane route.....they should move with the clouds movements.
