A new paintjob for my Malibu.
« on: May 13, 2020, 12:48:08 PM »
I was out in the Valdez harbour, ship spotting in my Malibu.

Then I thought, why isn't my boat painted in BWEP colors?  I could do that!

So I did ...
DeltaSim Studios Malibu 32 in BWEP blue.
(. . . coming soon to RTMM also!   ;))

 :o

I am also working on an RTMM colors version.  Not happy with it yet though . . .

Looking very cool, Jeff!

Especially the black-white flag looks very sporty on the green paintscheme....I like it! :)

Mine works pretty well in my sim.  I have noticed a difference in handling between the regular and tower models.  My regular model is a pleasure to drive, and turns smoothly.  The tower model, ... not so much.  I've applied performance tweaks to the regular one, that the tower model didn't get.  All the boats behave slightly differently from one another.  But all work in P3D, at least up to v4.3 and probably 4.5 and 5 too.  But I don't own those.

The flag is a "Malibu" thing, or DS design, I think.  So I left it there and worked around it.  I like it too, though.

Check your email archives for "DeltaSim.s" for your activation code and download link, etc.  If you don't have an email from deltasim.s then you most likely don't actually own one.  (I have eight  ;))

Looks great Jeff. Hey I have an idea.

Klaus,

Can you send Jeff the Misty's Caribbean logo file you used on the aircraft repaints for Misty's Caribbean? That would look good on the side of one of those Malibu's!

Also, Jeff, have you seen the livery Klaus did for the Maule in Caribbean colors? That's a beautiful look IMHO.

Brad

That‘s great, Jeff!

This is an excellent one for exploring the Carribeans on the waters....I have never tried boats in VR so far.
