Just installed it, it works. A bit bumpy on water, ok on land. I don't know how it behaves in V4, though.

Edit: And wakes go up.

Haven't tried it yet! Wakes go UP?  Maybe you have an wake effect that the Icon is referring to without the ground decal entry.

All wake files need the  ground decal=1 in the wake fx to ensure it goes horizontal on the water and not vertical into the sky.

For it's wake.fx >  under the  [Particle.0], [Particle.1] of the wake effect -
make sure you have it in the coding:
Ground Normal=1
Ground Decal=1

That should fix it!

---------

Better yet.. the wake effect for that Icon should be    fx_DolphinSpray (If set the same as mine).
so attached is my wake effect.   (You can check the effects section of the Icon A5 aircraft.cfg but it should read > water=fx_DolphinSpray

If that is the wake being called in your icon then make a backup/rename that wake file in your effects folder: (where ever that might be) - to turn off  fx_DolphinSpray.fx (add an extension .ORIG or .OFF . to your file.

(DL/Extract my attached fx_DolphinSpray.zip and put the fx_DolphinSpray.fx effect into your effects and try the Icon again. Hopefully the water effect will be horizontal?

Yes, you can see the wake going up in my video.
Thank you Norm, I will check.

It works now. But I had to change your effects file, Norm. It did not heve those 2 entries in the section [Particle.0]. That fixed it finally.

I think the wakes are ok now?

Yes.

Nice plane, just flying a leg with it. Like driving a car.

Got it working, along with the Goose ... slowly but surely getting things in order. Thank you.
