I have extremly bad blurried textures and after some time in Flight, about 10-15 minutes, in v5HF1. This is really strange and the sim is not usable for me.
This didn‘t Happen with v5 initial Release. Even v4.5HF3 works way better for me. I found a thread on the LM Forums today......

I have good news.... So far I had blurried textures and random cdt‘s.  this is gone, I have no Blurried textures anymore :)......

.....Now, I have more random crashes :o

How did you fix your blurred textures?   But more random crashes?

unactive :Tomatoshade , URP, or PTA ..
Because they interfer with Shader HLSL in root Folder  of V5  .

Before make a virgin copy of yours  and save where you xant ..

In other words for V5 - no shader type program is necessary. IE: Tomato shader, PTA, Reshade, envshade etc etc etc are NOT required. (and none of them will mix well with PBR textures that are in P3Dv5 either)..

Yeah.. I'm missing PTA. Maybe I get Envshade, they will make it V5 ready.

Don't really need any shader program in v5 at all. PBR and DX12-you won't find any better out there right now. Just play with your brightness, saturation, shadowing to get your desired graphics and fly.

If you have any weird graphics issues it's the exact same troubleshooting process for every problem.
1. Always delete your shader folder first, and if necessary 2. delete your prepar3d.cfg to restore your graphics (and after P3D rebuilds the shaders folder and the prepar3d.cfg file then you can restore your prepar3d.cfg settings.. which takes all of 30 seconds to do. (Even quicker if you have your display settings saved as a profile). Usually fixes most things - (unless the installed are corrupt)..

PS: Good idea to back up your Controllers setup too (export the file with your settings), so if you ever lose your controller setting takes like 5 seconds to restore them using import).

How did you fix your blurred textures?   But more random crashes?

I had an affinity mask entry in my prepard.cfg. I used to it from v4, but for me it seems not work with v5.
I deleted it...and noticed the blurries went away.
Then I deleted the complete prepard.cfg and let build new by v5. From this base I started new and adjusting the settings.

Regarding the crashes....I‘m still searching for the cause. I did reinstall Visual C++ 2015 and then C++2017.

I also added your DX-GUI timeout fix.

 Yesterday I did a flight about 30 minutes...no crash, hopefully this is a good sign. More testing is needed.

Today Terra Flora 2 was updated by ORBX Central as I started it.
I didn‘t find any informations what‘s the reason for the update.....

The Blue outlines do still exist anyway.
