FS2020
« on: March 26, 2020, 11:32:24 PM »
Hi folks. I've been out of commission for awhile (Camp Fire) but I'm slowly getting back up to speed. Sounds like Fs2020 might be getting close to a reality. I'm happy with what I' ve got but I see where the new sim is xbox one based. Hmm. The g'kids have xbox one. Might be a great way to introduce them to flight simming. I know nothing about it. Is it possible to add 3rd party stuff like rtmm to an xbox platform? That'd be way cool.

Thanks, and glad to see the old regulars are still around, and a good newbie addition as well.

Hi Jsapair.

Great to see that you are slowly getting back up to speed.  FS2020's primary target platform for release is the PC.  Xbox is the next target after the PC release. It is quite possible that a fully functional version of FS2020 may not be available for quite some time yet.  In addition, it is unknown whether RTMM sceneries will be able to run with the new Microsoft simulator.  Time will tell.

For now, my focus remains on P3Dv4.5.
