By rebuilding PlanG database all ADEX (formerly called AFCAD/is an acronym for the design program named "Aircraft Facilities Computer Aided Design.") files are read from all installed sceneries that are included in the scenery.cfg.. A symbol is written on the map (circle with black line) symbolizing airport, rwy and rwy direction. Additionally name and field elevation is stored.
To do so:
Open PlanG - in menu tab click Data - Build Navigation Database - choose FSX or P3D - click ok.
Now the database will be (re)build. That might take a while based on the amount of sceneries installed.
- POIs (Point of Interests)
These are selfmade points displayed on PlanG map (like yellow stars, green dots, circles a.s.o)
As Norm already mentioned I created POI's for all RTMM sceneries and many Orbx sceneries ready to import into PlanG. These csv-files can be imported via Data - Manage - Import.
In case the POI's are not directly shown on the map close PlanG and open again.
Basically after installing a new scenery the database must be rebuild.
