DC-3, C-47, Basler
« on: April 06, 2019, 01:21:50 PM »
I learned that on some routes those are the preferred aircraft. Are there addons for P3D V4.4? All I found is the Douglas on simouthouse. Is it ok? And is there anything regarding the other 2 types?

Thx,
Karl

Yup, yup and yup..

My favorite is the C-47  v3.14 beta, (plus a minor fix/update) with vintage cockpit by (Manfred Jahn) (SOH-Simouthouse) or AVSIM:

AVSIM Links AVSIM_LINK: https://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=198659
and fix/update FILE: https://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=199046
(And the RTMM repaint works perfect!) )And lots of other liveries out there!

Basler BT67 v2.0 also works in P3Dv4x without issue.

The older DC-3 from Boxed FSX (which is a native FSX model) also works with no issues in P3Dv4.4

Another BIG addition that works fine in P3Dvx is the
FSX/P3D Douglas C-117D, Super DC-3, R4D-8, V3.zip   (SOH-Simouthouse)
and
FSX/P3D Douglas C-47 Skytrain (Modern VC) with classic GCA.zip (SOH-Simouthouse) or

For even a slightly bigger creation is the
Royal Canadian Air Force Lockheed CP-140 Aurora for FSX and P3Dv4.zip (SOH-Simouthouse) but kinda big for us up here!. lol.

But lots work for P3Dv4x for sure.

What would be the guidelines to use a similar, but different aircraft? In this case would an Islander BN-2 be fine?

Just for extra info Justflight and Perfectflight Dc-3s also work in P3dv4 if you have them.
