Kildala Pass Skywagon Perspective.
« on: April 02, 2011, 11:57:48 AM »
Here is my hop to Airstrip " BRAVO " in the Kemano area.  I departed CBZ2 which is a Heli station, but with Tundra tires one can Depar t / land most places. I hear landing strips are for " Sissy Pants " who fly Tundras anyway.   :-X

My video of the beautiful area can be seem by clicking here:  http://share.ovi.com/media/FSRobert.public/FSRobert.10116

Nice shots from a great scenery.

Picture 5 shows two strange mountain domes. ("spikes"?!)

Very nice! Rather rugged territory, I'd say.

Quick side question - whose 737 did you use in your Alaskan Salmon video? Is it FSX or FS9, since I do have the scheme for my Wilco 737 PIC for FS9 and wonder whether it will work if I upgrade it to FSX.

It´s the 50N Model.  works well in FSX.   8)

Dieter you have a great eye for things.  To be honest I was wondering what it is myself. That is why I capture the shot.

Looks to me like they are errors or bugs in the scenery graphics.  I've seen similar in a number of places.

The destination in these shots is actually airstrip "ALPHA". You can find airstrip "BRAVO" up on the mountain top located behind the "Kingair" parked at "ALPHA"

Roger That!

I´ll head up there soon...stay tunned tomorrow.

Seems I need to learn my way around these parts.   :-\

The two spikes are Mesh errors, whether they are just on FSRoberts machine or part of the ORBx mesh I don't know, if you find the same spikes in your own scenery then it's ORBx and should be reported with a lat long in the ORBx forum, a lot of spikes were fixed in the recent service pack.
