Where is the terrain cfg file?

Im trying to get Tongass X to work in P3D V4...I need to renumber the Tongass texture entries in the terrain cfg...as far as I know...but I cant find it. The only terrain cfg text doc in the main folder shows just the 40 Tongass entries with XXX. I'm thinking Im not in the right cfg file because it should have other entries there already...so...where is the right one!

Yes go to the bottom of the forum and get the P3D add -on version of Tongass..

Make sure you do the terrain.cfg entries correctly... 

The correct terrain.cfg to edit is:

P3Dv4x - Terrain.cfg file is located in HIDDEN P3Dv4x sim folder:
C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4.

P3Dv5x - Terrain.cfg file is located in HIDDEN P3Dv5x sim folder:
C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5.


(If using the add-on Tongass, I have added the insertion point (or layers) which should be close enough to be in the correct location in the scenery order.

i was actually just trying to find the hidden cfg file...and i finally found the darn thing!...but 5 bucks says i still wont be able to get it to work...lol

It will work.. As that is the ONLY correct terrain.cfg file that has to be correctly edited.
