There are bright lights, dim lights,white lights, red lights, yellow lights, blinking lights, slanted lights, rotating lights, beacons, navigational markers, cabin lights... have I missed any. Sooooo many choices in the Redux 3D lights. Also, there may be graphic or monitor settings you need to adjust for better effects. I can only guess without a screenshot of what you are seeing. Sorry your first impression of the lights is "dim".
