Aircraft types
« on: January 20, 2019, 01:27:10 PM »
I've listed through the first couple of pages and haven't found a thread on this. Maybe this topic is forbidden whatsoever?  :) I just wanted to ask how types of aircraft allowed in the MFC are chosen? Are there any procedures to suggest a new type? Maybe, some requirements? Personally, I've found the list pretty good except that I was missing C182 there. It's a decent bush flyer and a powerful aircraft. Besides, there is a good model from A2A...

The list of aircraft seen is a bush list of aircraft that are actually used in the Alaska-BC bush Plus any craft that has an add-on livery here at RTMM plus a few more additions. The 182 is not out of the question at all so let me dig up the specs for it and get it added/defined in the list of aircraft used in the MFC fleet then it will appear in Cigar Box for selection.  Will only take me a few mins..

Actually it is there already - Select DHC3 for the tour - and when in Cigar Box you can either use the standard or for turbo model select DHC3-Turbo version in the aircraft Information box:

For standard DHC3 use > N351MM - DHC3 - DHC3 OTTER

For Turbo DHC3 use > NDHC3MT - DHC3 - DHC3 OTTERT.

Can do.. kinda defeats the purpose but you can fly what you want - no natter to me.  I will update the tours to include the MD530 for you. Won't take me too long to update them.

Now FYI:
Anyone can custom add your aircraft of choice right in Cigar Box for any flight or tour leg.
1) Load the flight or tour flight into Cigar Box,
2) Scroll to your aircraft selection in the Aircraft Information box > Select the aircraft then select "Load and your aircraft of choice will be added as the aircraft for that flight.
Done.  (See pics attached)
