Ham Island Marinia & Helipad
« on: December 30, 2018, 02:56:39 PM »
While flying the "2018 A Very Misty Christmas tour" (Tour MFC0025C) I noticed a significant marina and helipad on Ham Island just beyond Triangle Lake Hydro. It doesn't appear on my charts, Google Earth, or in our Google Earth KMZ. Is this Misty's Area 51? A yacht I can sail there? Did I miss a NOTAM? 55°11'33.35"N 131°23'7.44"W   55.192597° -131.385399°

At any rate, thanks for the present!

Nah not an RTMM Area 51.. it's the CU Ranch. (as per the scenery doc for that tour). located at:
N55° 11' 33.50" -  W131° 23' 03.18" (see CU Ranch by Chris Losh on the scenery page) which is located on the NW corner of Ham Island.

Don't have to stop there in the tour legs for this trip but sure makes a nice sceneic flyby on the the way to PANT.
