All things come to a end and RTMM lost one Brilliant QC man and all around enthusiasts for the hobby but, his legacy will live here. I for one will not be able to QC a scenery without thinking of him.

We lost not only a brilliant person at RTMM but the whole flightsim community. Spud was also active on the ORBX forums and other sites. I remember, he was banned at ORBX several times temporaly as he did say things the administrators there didn‘t like. He did say the thinks which had to be spoken.......and therefore we liked him so much!

He did an outstanding job with QC on RTMM sceneries. But he was also a very helpful person on the forums. Whenever  the community needed help he was there with great support......

Spud, RIP and keep flying High!

I didn't really know Spud, not like any of the folks that make RTMM tick anyway. I did have a 20 or 30 minute conversation with him one afternoon on Discord. I mentioned  I was living in ID and we had a great discussion about the state he knew and the story about how he got the name Spud in the Navy. Very interesting fellow. So Spud, Fair Weather  and Following Seas Sailor

Long time Lurker here, but haven't been around for awhile.  Very sorry to come back and see this news.  While I did not know Spud I read alot of his post and used alot of his ideas.  The man will be missed may he rest in peace.

He gave me a lot of help, as most here did. Sorry to hear. I don't know what the average age is in this group. I am in my seventies with lots of health issues.
Have to enjoy every day. But, again, sad news!!

This is such sad news.

I am not as frequent a visitor to the forum as I would like to be but always found Spud to be very helpful and knowledgeable of our great hobby.

RIP
