One of those 'elicopter thingies?  Not sure of what types are available for FSX and I ain't a painter (of this sort - done a few watercolours of the Norrfik Broads) - but from what looks like a clamshell door at the back of the fuselage pod?  Bo 105??

Looks good, Chris, despite the fact it may be a little too 'gung ho' for me as a Canuck.   ;)  I fell in love with this bird when I first saw a video on one of the military versions backing into a hide under the trees!

Well, possible - but then the Red Bull one has set a precedent. It's a lovely heli - one that we Brit heli techs would have given possible even a left wotsit for instead of the Gazelle, but noooo... politics is more important than what us techs think. Even the Eceureil would have been preferable to the Gazelle as far as "soldier proofness" goes. OK, so I loved the Gazelle too in the end...

There's some excellent BO 105 demo videos on YouTube - simple enough to find. Another search term is "Chalie Nagel" - he's the pilot that did most for the BO105 in the way of advertising flying (low, fast, bloody hell, white knuckle stuff)

I've seen some of the Red Bull demos on YouTube.  Some of those moves have gotta hurt!

I am progressing, but a wall of real world needs breaking through again - the landlord has given me a few days free of prospective follow-on tenants so I will be at the new place for a while, well - a day at least, so there's going to be a pause for a bit.

Here's where I am at:

Hi Chris,
Woow!! This really looks awesome! Showed the Pictures my BO in the Hangar.
BO told my it would love to be painted in that scheme!...I tell you, it really screamed out loud! ;D

My BO will wait patiently till you get the time to finish!

I´ve seen the real BO105 doing real aerobatics on a Flight show of German Heeresflieger in 2009!
This is an incredible machine. It was totally impressive what a well trained pilot can do with these
choppers.

I think this scheme actually works better on the Bo than some of the other birds you've painted.  I think it's because of the sheer bulk of the fuselage that it tends to 'flow' with more impact, if you know what I mean.

Yep...

It will get finished eventually. At the moment it's back in  the gene pool. More Misty stuff on the way.
