MFC0446A PF50->PF39 - Cigar Box doesn't recognize arrival
« on: November 12, 2018, 05:31:33 PM »
I just flew the wonderfully scenic flight MFC0446A from Pacific Gateway (PF50) to Owikeno N Strip (PF39) and after stomping the brakes and praying for enough runway, alas Cigar Box tells me I have 855.56 miles to go to reach my destination! "Aircraft is not at Arrival" followed by "Aircraft Position Error"

Something to fix?

Cigar Box does have a location check so if you are at the an incorrect location when you start or finish the flight then Cigar Box will convey that your aircraft is xxxx miles away from the departure or destination- specifying how far away and another pop-up "Aircraft Position Error".

So did quick check of the MFC airport database values (Lat/Long locations) for both PF50 and PF39 and found that the PF39 longitude was off causing it do reflect an incorrect location which Cigar Box kicked out. I fixed the long of PF39 and re-tested that flight.. fixed and all good now. Thanks for reporting it Brian.

Thanks Norm. Once again, close but no Cigar Box!  Brian
