Save SIM Position
« on: August 31, 2018, 07:40:54 PM »
First off, I can't thank you people enough for creating this community. I have all this Orbix scenery and now I have a reason to use it.

I just completed leg4 of MFC0002 and it says to (Save SIM Position) at Eddystone Rock. I saved the flight docked at the rock. Is that what I was supposed to do? If not please advise. Thank You again.

Yes Al, I mentioned to save position because ie: New Eddy (And many other RTMM ontype locations) are not in your sim databases as an valid airport location so you can't just go to that location in your sim without a bit of work.. but if you save sim after you land at those RTMM locations your plane will be at the correct location to start the next leg. Many of these RTMM locations are not contained as valid icao in your sim so easier to save position in your sim at the locations.

There is an option if you forget to save the flight.  You can look up the lat/long in RTMM and then enter that into the sim to get you back to the spot you need.
