Hi all. Just completed MFC0012.

Regards
Camelo (MFC0127)

(Hello again. For any reason I did not report the last leg of MFC0010 The Lost Treasure of Timuquan. It has been reported now.  Tour MFC0010 - Completed on May, 25 by Pilot: Carmelo #MFC0127.

Regards)

Yes Sir Carmelo, got all of them.  MFC0010 The Lost Treasure of Timuquan, MFC0011 Tongass National Forest as well as MFC0012 TF Docks-Ketchikan. (notice is longer required that you have finished a tour. We have a award system in place at MFC and I refer to that to post all the awards here on the forum.  But in any event, it is nice to show others the awards: Here is your last 3 Tour awards, plus your one year of service award that was also recently added (May 1st, 2021):

William Butler MFC Pilot 0105 completed Tour MFC0036 Approaching Olympic National Park on 6/26/2021.

Very enjoyable tour.  Had an interesting experience on the way to KCLM.  Paused the aircraft after departing W28. When I returned after 2 hours I had to restart FSX.  Plan G showed the aircraft in the air over Vancouver and Cigars was still recording.  I opened the world map and selected an airfield below me.  At the same time I decided to reenter the flight plan in Plan G.  Plan G picked up the flight plan.  I decided to enter KNOW in the 'Go to Airport".  The aircraft was placed on runway at KNOW and I took off and resumed the flight.

Cigars showed the aircraft landing 1.66 miles from KFHR.  I don't remember landing.  Must have done so when I selected the airfield in the World Map.   I thought when FSX locked up you would not be able reenter your flight plan on restart.  Learn something new every day.

Norm,

William Butler, Pilot MFC 0105 completed Tour MFC0037 PNW-Olympic Peninsula-Fairchild to Bowerman on 7/8/2021.  Am enjoying moving south into the Lower 48.  Would like to use the T-28 on the next tour but as it is not part of the fleet would like to check that it would be OK.  If not may try Beaver on wheels.

Well Bill see that your MFC0037 trip has been completed .. now you're heading deep south! Nice territory and different from what we are used to. The award for MFC037 has been added to you pilot's award listing.

Now going forward, would that be the T-28 Russian tank..lol or the T-28 Trojan?  T-28 is not exactly a bush plane but a very nice bird abd we aren't exactly in bush turf and won't be for a while.

Norm,

Thanks for the award recognition.  Its all good!  I signed up with the  Beaver on Tour 38 but now that I have your OK I may fly the T-28 on a leg or two.  When I was in Alaska the State Forestry Department brought a couple of T-28s up to fly lead plane on forest fires.  It was great as lead plane but had some trouble on the village airports.  All which had gravel runways (1800ft) at that time.  It wasn't the short runways as T-28 had plenty of power, it was the small tires that created problems.
