No worries Alan...  MFC pilots advising here when a tour was completed was only in the first 6 or so months of the inception of MFC to ensure that I didn't miss or overlook an award!. But since then, it was noted that a pilot's completion notification was no longer required as we generate an daily internal awards/milestones listing. And from that daily awards listing I have made a habit of transposing all of the awards from our internal listing to here on the RTMM forums as an ongoing record of pilots awards or milestones earned each month so that all can see and are aware.   

So pilots don't have to advise me: but if he does or wants to that is fine too.. In those cases, i will take that opportunity to reply here in this forum to acknowledge/confirm that pilot's accomplishment and also post the award graphic that was created for completing the tour. For MFC milestone awards like flights or flight hours (500 or more) I will also create a special post to acknowledge and highlight that accomplishment.

So since you mentioned it, lol.. here is my response on your tour completion.

Alan, you indeed have been awarded the completion award for MFC0030 Chugach Forest (completed on 2024-04-15) and the award has been added to your pilot's award listing. Nice work in your Misty Moorings painted DHC-2 Amphibian and Tundra Wheels!

William Butler, Pilot MFC0105, completed Tour MFC0064 Coastal Alaska-Deadhorse to King Salmon (PASC-PAKN) on 2024-5-26. I could not find Manokotak (PAMB/KMO) Airport.  Searched from the air and in RTMM Addon Scenery.  I found the turbine 206 difficult to land consistently but improved toward the end of the Tour.

I truly enjoyed this Tour.  I cannot believe it was 42 years ago when Dee and I arrived in Bethel.  That may explain why I thought I had been to all coastal airfields south the North Slope.  The truth is closer to all villages from mouth of the Yukon to the mouth of the Kuskokwim rivers and most of the 35 native villages on the Yukon Kuskokwim National Wildlife Refuge.  I was truly blessed to have flown in Alaska for 12 years.  Having MFC brings back very good memories.
