PS: MFC up and running. Some might as what content is available to fly at MFC? (Well thanks to Henry for getting the site up and running. This is the 2nd system. The 1st just couldn't handle the RTMM load that I put on it so it got the boot!! It might be fine for flying between real airports but it just couldn't handle my forceable database expansion in trying define all the RTMM locations that I was putting into it. And it choked and cracked under the pressure..lol. So we went to a more complex system that we knew could handle it and it is.
Under this new environment, as of today: there is a total 7 tours built and running. (The 1st excursion is just a short three legged tour to get all up to speed on how things function and the process). The 7 tours at present contain 90 relatively easy flight legs of various length and are meant to be sequentially flown. These are direct flights from departure to destination. I will continue to build tours, adventures and/or excursions into various RTMM areas at MFC over time.
Non-Tour flights. I would hope that all the flyers here are familiar with Doug's RTMM FP on the Here to There page. You will notice that the RTMM FP are being updated frequently as I built flight legs at MFC for these RTMM FP.
Of the 612 FP that are contained in the RTMM FP folder, to date 203 of those FP have been updated to include MFC flight leg numbers and new destination ICAO which are in sync with the new recordable MFC flight legs.
Just load up the FP in your sim or map program, and at MFC, use the flight number in the KaCars to load up and fly and record your flights, then file the flight when you're done. This will create your own logbook and as you fly through the flights, you flight log will be built and kept as well will be able to see the various RTMM sites and know which routes/locations you have visited.
In addition have created 90 other single flight legs which are a representation of the 90 flight legs that are embedded in the tours that can be flown as single flights.
I have only scratched the surface of the MFC flying content but to date there is almost 300 regular flights that are available to be flown and all record-able via kacarsII. And much more to come, now that the site is up and running.
