For those that don't have P3Dv4 Nantucket v1.02 improves P3Dv3 too!
v1.02 improvements include:
◾ Conversion of the seasonal and dynamic animation functionality to the SimObject Display Engine (SODE)
instead of the old Viva technology
◾ New grass textures for better realism
◾ Enhanced ground poly textures
◾ Lots more static planes – both GA and bizjets
◾ Added detail in open hangar
◾ Dynamic apron night lighting (P3Dv4 only)
I find that I get better frame rates with this new version and terrain/textures look more realistic than ever.
