It just seems to be getting better and better. I for one will not be spending any money on V4 until it's fully fleshed out including compatibility issues.

So TF is being updated/revised to work with P3dV4 or does it work for the most part right now?

Thanks

Per Dex, TFX works pretty well with P3D v4.  Some issues with the FS9 AI airplane models missing wheels, props etc. but that is minor.  We are testing to see if we can fix any of those missing components.  Some success and some failures...but other than the AI model issues, TFX looks pretty good so far.

I have tried to install Tongas on P3D V4 (it's my first P3D experience)
I follow the guide on Avsim, I copy paste the relevant files from my FSX folder to P3D but I have constant CTD when flying in the area.

Might be the unicode stuff in the terrain CFG that cause the issue, I don't know.
If you try to take off from PAWG is it working for you ? (I have immediate CTD for my part)

Man are you guys are fast or what!!!! I just might have to bite the bullet on v4 once FTX Central 3 is updated and tested to copy files correctly.

Bushido:

You can use Notepad++ and the plugins from Sourceforge to compare character or form discrepancies between text files and it's free.

It was an issue with the AI traffic

Using the Tongass Configurator I try the various AI traffic and the culprit is the DHC 3 Otter and DH6 Twin Otter.
If the box is checked P3D crashed if uncheck no issue.
Other AI traffic seems to work fine (I didn't try the Dash 7 and Bell 206 as they are FS9 portover)

We have converted the two DHC3s, the DHC6 and the Dash 7.  They are all running beautifully in P3Dv4.  Release package is in final beta test.  See this thread for additional information:
