FTX Global Base Pack

I just added FTX Global Base Pack by ORBX to my add on scenery. When I went to Misty's Place, none of the scenery showed. I moved Misty's Place to the top of my scenery list (position #1). The scenery then showed up fine. FTX Global Base Pack was installed and occupied the top positions on the scenery list. Will I have to take each individual Misty Moorings scenery and move it above (lower number) the FTX Global scenery?

More than one way to skin a cat! Whatever is easiest. It's literally a one minute or less job if using the Scenery Configuration Editor by moving whole blocks at a time.

Hmmm,

FTX Global base is the substitution of old MS standard textures. There is no entry in the scenery.cfg.

Yes, you have to move every RTMM scenery into a higher prioroity than any Orbx scenery.

That applies to ANY third party scenery you have installed.  FTX sits below all 3rd party scenery.  (If you have OZx scenery that will be immeadiately ABOVE the FTX scenery.

Here is a table from the FTX Definitive Guide that shows correct placement for FS scenery in the FSX Library.

Don't forget to create an insertion point in FTX Central to keep that from happening again.

Also FYI, "Misty's Place" and the vast majority of all the RTMM scenery we've done is located within select regions of North America. Pacific Fjords, Pacific Northwest and Southern Alaska regions by ORBX and Tongass Fjords region from FSAddon. So using the FTX Global base product for "Misty's Place" and not using the North America regions we design our scenery to be used with could present you with some incompatibility issues. The only Scenery we have created that uses FTX Global Base currently is "Blue Wave Energy Partners" and only the "Richardson Highway" Edition of that.

So, do you have and use ORBX FTX "Pacific Fjords?

The best solution as sayed JSPAIR,  the insertion point in FTX CENTRAL --> SETTING

and all MISTY are Above, i do this why ? because if you open an other time your SIM all get at the buttom of FTX sceneries .
