I must take my leave

I have things that need doing in the real world and I could be gone for a while. Moving house and some surgery, that sort of stuff.

I will drop by from laptops etc. whenever I can. I should be back in the saddle by summer... ish.

Oh I will drop by almost daily for sure. But that darn slip on the ice 15 months ago fulfilled the doctor's prediction all the way. He said something like "If you'd broken the wrist, or even shattered it, we'd have had you fixed in no time."

It's been plagueing me on and off ever since, and now it is definitely getting worse. But even though my speed is down to somewhere between 10 and 15 words per minute, at least typing is doable. It's just the mouse-work that ruins my day.

Imagine a wrist full of hexagonal and rough-edged bones - every wrist movement results in the scaphoid and the lunar and all the other bones crunching over instead of rolling smoothly.
