Where to submit a new scenery?

Hello,

I emailed the "contact" email address on the homepage last week, and realized today I hadn't heard back.   No hurry of course (or obligation to answer me at all for that matter ;-) ) but I just thought I'd check and make sure that that's the correct address?

Thank you, this actually alerted us to a new web site problem, our host has changed protocol on email. So we are now re-doing the email contact link from RTMM.  In the meantime, you should read the Rules for Contributors found here: http://return.mistymoorings.com/about/#r

That will give you a head start. We'll put up a notam when things are working.

Thanks Doug.  Yep, I've reviewed the rules for contributors and my scenery should comply with them, minus getting pre-approval for the location.   No problem if someone already has the location, though it's unlikely - this is pretty much the middle of nowhere even by RTMM standards.

Anyhow, hope the server configuration headaches are a quick fix.  I'll keep an eye out for the notam and re-submit then.

Ryan, it's up a valley north of Haines, it's a small mine location with a pretty blind approach.

Plans?  What're those?   

Dunno, I love the PFJ area though so I imagine it's possible.  What got me interested in building scenery at first was trying to build remote photoreal sloping mountain strips.  It's been lots of fun so I imagine whatever else I build in the near future will be similar.  I have a storyline that leaves room for several more strips in the region north of Haines but no reason not to branch out I guess...

To avoid headaches and setbacks, in case you didn't make sure you submit a detailed scenery plan, the coverage areas and your ideas BEFORE you begin work on your project in order to make sure that it won't interfere with any other scenery in the library, no matter how remote you think it is. This has happened in the past and caused disappointment. We'll soon be updating the RTMM developers' requirements and guide.

If nothing else the Long. / Lat. coordinates of your strip would be a clue for any other possible conflict ot the scenery already completed.
