RTMM Dispatch Selector Questions
« on: December 13, 2016, 12:30:32 PM »
When I activate the Dispatch Selector program I see the following:

1.  In the Inactive Dispatches column I see a list of dispatches (Example:  P001M through P007S)
2.  In the Active Dispatches column I see a list of dispatches (Example: P001M through P011S)

If I select one of the active dispatches that is also listed as an inactive dispatch and then select Inactivate Selected Dispatch I get an Unhandled Exception error which indicates the request could not be completed because a file already exists in the path with an extension of .off.  The same thing happens if I select an inactive dispatch that is also in the active dispatch list and try to activate it

If I select an active/inactive dispatch that is not listed in the opposition dispatch category I can active or inactive it without a problem.

Is what I describe the expect operation of the RTMM Dispatch Selector?

No.  The dispatches can only be in one inactive or active dispatch column at a time.   Your RTMM Dispatches folder is corrupt.  Need to deinstall it, download the RTMM Dispatches zip from the BWEP Page again and re-install it according to the included instructions.

Thanks Rod.  Uninstall and reinstall cleared it up.  Now if I can just find the leak associated with P001M.  I have found the other leaks, spills, locations, etc.  But no luck on finding P001M.  Must have flown the "probable" search area 10 times.

Oh well, that is the fun of it.

Glad you got the Selector working properly again.  The leak is hard to spot.  You have to be very, very close to the ground.

Lmao: also punched a few holes in those big pipes.. so there is a chance that RC might find more than one leak!.

Hopefully your dispatch selector should look something like this:

nbrich1, does this mean there was no active leak before?  I assume if that is the case I need to redownload the files?

Ok, found the P001M leak.  My problem was I had been looking within the area defined on the map as the "Probable Search Area".  From my interpretation of the area defined by the red oval the search area was limited to the area between the Terminal and the Lowe River.  So, I never went far enough toward Thompson Pass.

Cool......

Just like in real life, those probable search areas and map locations are not always exactly correct :)

Glad you found it.
