Should likely have posted this in the Website Section..Sorry.
Hi,
I was going through the process of downloading Bill Dick's repaints and I managed to get confused.
The top item is for a Tundra but the zip file is named ......skiis.zip
The middle item is for an Amphibian but the zip file is named....skiis.zip
The bottom item is for floats and the zip file is named ....floats.zip (seems to match)
The readme for the top item:
(Talks about an amphibian but really wants to talk about skiis/wheels?)
(Is there a unique Tundra tire version without skiis?)// Go to the directory where the aerosoft amphibian is located
// ...Microsoft Flight Simulator/SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Beaver Skiis
// Open that folder
// Add the "texture.MMS" folder from this zipped folder to the open folder
// Copy the following:
// Start Copy below:------------------------------------------------------
[fltsim.XXX]
title=DHC-2S MMS
sim=FSX_DHC-2S
model=SKI2

texture=MMS
kb_checklists=DHC-2S_check
kb_reference=DHC-2S_ref

ui_type=DHC-2 Skis
ui_variation=Misty's

ui_createdby="Aerosoft"

atc_flight_number=
atc_parking_types=RAMP
description=The civilian version DHC-2 Beaver was was manufactured by de Havilland Aircraft of Canada, Ltd. from 1948 to 1969. The MKI is the mostly spread version witha 450 SHP Pratt & Whitney R985. Alternatively a MKII was developed with 550 SHP Alvis Leonides 502/4 engine. Later the less common PT6A6 turboprop powerd Beaver was built between 1964 to 1969. In total almost 1700 plans were built and many of them are beautifully restored and service for tourist flights,transportation and fun all around the world.
The readme for the middle item:
(Seems to be the same as the top item [Tundra]?)
// Go to the directory where the aerosoft amphibian is located
// ...Microsoft Flight Simulator/SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Beaver Skiis
// Open that folder
// Add the "texture.MMS" folder from this zipped folder to the open folder

The bottom item:
(Gets more confusing as this is supposed to be a float version?)
// Go to the directory where the aerosoft floats is located
// ...Microsoft Flight Simulator/SimObjects/Airplanes/Aerosoft Beaver Floats
// Open that folder
// Copy and paste the "texture.MMS" folder from this zipped folder to the open folder
