It crashes when you load a flightplan?  Can you fly if you don't load a flightplan?  Just pick a plane and a place and go.  Did you flush your shader cache folder, so it could rebuild new ones?  Are there any error messages in your "Event Viewer"?  ???

No it crashes after I select an aircraft and airport. No flight plan.  It gets to about 16% and crashes to desktop.  I am assuming you mean delete the shaders folder?  I no longer have it installed on the new Ssd since it would not work.  I am waiting on a reply from Lockheed Martin to see what the deal is.

Well, actually I mean empty the files out of it, leaving the empty folder intact.  Mine is on my C: drive in

C:\Users\Jeff\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\Shaders

And I have a macro that opens that folder and marks all files, which I then delete (permanently, not recycle bin).  It helps sometimes to create fresh ones.

You no longer have a shader cache?  How does that work? ???  You disabled it somehow?  How do you know it was not working?  Isn't it an automatic thing, and is required?

Ok was finally able to migrate P3D over using Acronis.  This has been a huge headache but its finally over.  Thanks everyone for your input!

What I don't understand is that if you made an exact 1:1 copy from the original SSD to the new one and swapped drive letters, then what was the problem? Something had to have gone wrong in your copy/paste, drag n' drop process that dropped, corrupted or missed a file.
